| Job description |
| The Global 450 Consortium Inline Metrology Engineer duties will
include, but not be limited to: hands-on operation of all inline
metrology equipment, mentoring and training the technician staff,
writing / updating operating procedures and specifications, internal and
external customer applications support, and coordination of new
equipment evaluation and qualification. This position will be expected
to handle all aspects of Inline Metrology tool ownership. This position
entails evaluating metrology equipment capability appropriate for use by
consortia partners and equipment suppliers – ramping through beta-phase
equipment status through manufacturing readiness at the same - or
potentially the next - technology node. This work will be performed with
on-site G450C industrial partners and requires interfacing with the
broader supplier community to a significant extent. Specific roles and
responsibilities will include: • Build equipment, process, module, and
route/flow elements in an industry-standard MES system • Work with
broader G450C team on diverse projects • Partner with the supplier
development team to identify needed processing /measurement capabilities
for evaluating the 450mm process tools. • Integrate module-level CMOS
processes • Work with broader G450C team on diverse projects • Evaluate
wafer measurement and test data • Coordinate with supplier community A
deep understanding of the semiconductor industry and how metrology
results are used to support equipment evaluations is a prerequisite. A
working knowledge of equipment and process interactions is critical. |
Required
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 8 years experience in Semiconductor Process Engineering
- Readiness to travel 10% travel annually
- English: Intermediate
|
Preferred
- Master's Degree in Engineering
- At least 10 years experience in Semiconductor Process Engineering
- English : Fluent
