PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Position Purpose

Responsibilities

Qualifications & Experience

  • BA degree in Business (Concentration in Marketing or Business Administration is preferred) 
  • 5 to 7 years of "Business-to-Business" sales experience. Experience in the tobacco industry is preferred.
  • Ability to prospect business development chain opportunities. 
  • Proven track record in sales and management with clear evidence of achieving results through others.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills as well as management skills (communication, collaboration, delegation, conflict resolution, etc.)

PURPOSE OF JOB
As a Splzd Investment Services Representative for USAA, you will have one of the most important roles in our company. In this position you'll spend approximately 90 percent of the handling in-bound phone calls from our current members. Your goal is to assess our member's financial situations and goals and make appropriate financial product recommendations. You'll advise them on an array of financial issues such as: retirement planning, college funding, and asset allocation. You will recommend appropriate financial strategies based on member's goals, individual needs.
USAA's advantages include:
  • No cold calling.
  • No driving throughout the city because we are an in-bound call center environment.
  • Base salary plus bonuses leading to greater stability than commission driven compensation plans.
  • Structured training (8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday-Friday for 6-8 weeks). Retention of employment is contingent upon passing certification at the end of the training.
  • 40 or 38-hour work weekly work schedules (38 Hour Schedule: Three 10-hour days 8 hours Saturdays. Not eligible for USAA designated holiday pay. Adjusted PTO accrual rate).
  • Schedules are assigned based upon business needs.
  • Must be able to work extended hours between the times of 8:30am - 8pm, Monday - Friday & potentially every Saturday from 9:00am - 6:00pm. Schedules will involve working a 4, 4.5 or 5 day work week.
  • 30 percent Shift Premium pay (work scheduled: >6pm, M-F & Saturdays.
Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma (or equivalent).

The Installation Services Manager (ISM) is a critical role in the Home Services organization at The Home Depot. ISMs cover up to 3 districts based on geography. o Optimize allocation of constrained supplies across Distribution, Reseller and Direct channels
