Ericsson Mediaroom is looking for a stellar Associate Creative Director to lead one or more design teams throughout all phases of design and development of our digital products and services. The ACD will be responsible and accountable for the creative direction of our product design efforts, ranging from defining their strategic alignment and product positioning, to directing the execution of specific designs, to ensuring the top level of quality in the final deliverables. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in leading teams throughout the process of generating unique value and innovation in the design of products and services. Their skill set will seamlessly blend an exceptional visual design sensibility with a deep understanding of interaction and motion design, across a variety of platforms including mobile and the Web. Prior experience with the design of large application development platforms will be considered a plus.
The candidate will be immersed in a highly collaborative environment and part of their responsibility will be to regularly interact with software engineers and product managers. As a team manager and representative of design inside the Ericsson Mediaroom organization, the candidate will need to have exceptional communication skills, and be capable of clearly communicating their thoughts with a variety of tools ranging from white board sketches to complex presentations for a senior executive audience. In specific circumstances, the candidate may be required to also act as an individual contributor getting their hands dirty with actual creation of interaction documents or visual designs. Ideally, the candidate will also be passionate about mentoring more junior members of the design team.
 
The ideal candidate will own the following skills:
- Capable of leading a design team throughout all phases of the design of a digital product or service, from early architecture to detailed execution;
- Adept at translating design research, strategic market positioning, technical requirements into a specific design direction, including visuals and interaction;
- Complete familiarity with leading mixed teams of visual designers, interaction designers, and design developers;
- Fluent in popular platforms’ design languages, including UI frameworks, controls and interaction models;
- Deep understanding of platform and device requirements such as form factors, screen resolutions, pixel density and aspect ratios;
- In-depth familiarity with HTML, CSS and JavaScript;
- Experience in building design language systems, customizable designs and white label products;
- Contributing to the creation of future and current product presentations, interactive demonstrations, and video scenarios;
- 10+ years’ experience with a major web, product development or consulting firm in the digital product and/or service design and development space.
 
While not required, candidates with the following skills will be preferred:
- Familiarity with agile software development methodologies;
- TV/video design experiences a plus.
 
Responsibilities:
- Lead a design team throughout all phases of execution of design concepts, directions and layouts across TV, tablets and smartphones;
- Ensure the quality and consistency of user experience across multiple products, platforms and services;
- Lead the design and development of a design language system including interaction, visuals and motion;
- Lead the creation and maintenance of design documentation, including style guides, UI toolkits and other design documents;
- Ensure the delivery of a consistent consumer product experience by working in close collaboration with software engineers and product managers;
- Lead design reviews with peers and superiors, provide design directions and critical feedback;
- Mentor and direct junior designers to deliver high-quality design in a timely manner;
- Work collaboratively with fellow designers, researchers, prototypers, product managers, software engineers and testers;
- Present ideas and solutions to diverse functional roles;
- Direct design team throughout agile development sprints;
- Contribute individually to the design effort with specific interaction and visual solutions.

Job description
As a Watson Labs 3D Programmer / Developer & Data Integration Specialist you will design, code and test advanced prototypes in early stage products for the Watson Labs organization as we commercialize the Watson technology that won Jeopardy! and proves to be a game changing technology for IBM and it's clients.

Person must have demonstrated 3D space visualization software development skills either with an open source engine or from scratch. Should be able to convert visual concepts into working 3D visualization's with the help of Data Integrator. Knowledge of common algorithms, data structures, patterns and ability to apply them within constraints of end user systems. Demonstrated mathematical skills and experience creating abstract and unique visuals. Candidate would need to connect data from Watson output to 3D visualization input. Must have experience creating visual graphs and data models from raw data. Must then be able to embed 3D visualization's into different delivery mechanisms - applications, web applications or tablet apps.

Candidate needs to be highly motivated, very flexible, and able to work in an environment that constantly requires new ideas and new invention. This is not a traditional development role with well-defined direction as to what code needs to be developed. A willingness to research new ways to approach a difficult problem and ability to quickly learn new technologies is required. Candidates must have a demonstrated ability to work well with a cross-site IBM team and with customers.

The Demand Programs professional has end-to-end responsibility for program and campaign planning and execution. Demand Programs professionals define campaign objectives, and are accountable to brand and client set business leaders for delivering agreed to levels of demand program results. Job description
The Account Manager for Application Management Services (AMS) Sales is responsible for growing revenue in assigned accounts by leveraging expertise in the accounts and growing trusted client relationships. The Account Manager will be responsible for the entire sales cycle, from identification and development of software-based project work and outsourcing opportunities to client acceptance of the IBM proposal. This will include building a pipeline of opportunities in the assigned account, leading proposal teams, managing the selling process, and successfully closing the deal for profitable IBM business.

The individual will be expected to work closely with various competencies within IBM to develop and drive AMS services offerings to build AMS pipeline.   • Sell new work in assigned account, actively manage opportunity identification and maintain entrepreneurial mind set
  • Grow revenue base and establish base plan for growth
  • Contribute to positive client satisfaction and establish client executive relationships
  • Have experience to expand base scope of work and skills through staff augmentation and projects
  • Have the ability to do first/second level solutioning scenario and strong understanding of offshore model
  • Work closely with global delivery team for solutioning and internal approvals

    Job description
    The primary role of the Professional Services (PS) Technical Consultant is to help deliver services to our clients, such that they realize the optimum business value from our core high performance grid products.

    The Technical Consultant may be involved in both pre-sales and post-sales client facing on-site or remote engagements and therefore requires excellent communication and technical skills. Pre-sales engagements could include setting up and running Proof-of-Concepts (PoC) or doing HPC Grid Assessments that are consultancy, “trusted advisor” expert services. Common post-sales engagements could include: product installation, configuration, some coding/scripting integrations work, and application on-boarding. We also are heavily involved in solution architecture, design and implementation services such as with deployment of an Enterprise Grid, HPC Cloud or other “complete solution” services. The Technical Consultant will be expected to deliver formal training courses that provide foundational knowledge for our products as well to our clients.

    When the Technical Consultant is not being utilized for client engagements, they will be involved in developing new solution and training offerings, building their technical skills around our products and solution, or training other consultants in best practices and helping to create documentation or templates around repeatable services offerings.

    The Technical Consultant will be required to travel up to 50% of the time, mostly within North America and more rarely to Europe and other international locations, which is all dependent on client engagement locations.

    Responsibilities
    • Pre-sales: Provide technical estimates for a given client project scope to be included in SOWs; participate in POC/Pilot projects to help win client deals.
    • Post-sales: Provide professional technical services that include product installation, configuration, some coding/scripting integrations work, and application on-boarding, best practices/consulting advice, project management and ensure client acceptance is received upon completion of a project.
    • Training: Deliver virtual and on-site training; assist with creation of new/updated training course content.
    • Team: Ensure proper communication occurs with clients, Sales, Support, R&D and Services Team in terms of providing timely status reports; raise issues / escalations to appropriate management; work as a team player within Services to ensure overall vision is achieved.
    • Overall: Ensure client satisfaction and high quality work and deliverables are completed.
    Required
    • Bachelor's Degree
    • At least 2 years experience in working for an enterprise sized company or at a major vendor with client facing duties around any/all of these technologies: Grid/HPC Computing, Hadoop/Map Reduce, Analytics,Tech and Cloud Computing
    • At least 2 years experience in System administration skills using tools used in Windows/Linux operating systems
    • Basic knowledge in networking, storage and server infrastructure architecture
    • Readiness to travel 50% travel annually
