| The Demand Programs professional has end-to-end responsibility
for program and campaign planning and execution. Demand Programs
professionals define campaign objectives, and are accountable to brand
and client set business leaders for delivering agreed to levels of
demand program results. They determine their target audience leveraging
persons and constituency segments, gather insights - including
identifying natural language keywords, understanding what is considered
of value and relevance to the target, and finalizing their unique value
proposition - and create a 360-degree execution plan. This up-front
program planning involves gathering and synthesizing input from Market
Management individuals in the various brands supporting the program. Demand Programs has responsibility to select the most relevant organic and active marketing routes to market for product/solution offerings, manage the program budget to an expected ROI (Return of Investment), optimize efforts through iteration, and achieve and exceed the program objectives. Demand Programs owns and manages agency and vendor relationships in support of the integrated program plan. The World Wide Demand Program professional works with World Wide Market Management and Sales to determine the optimal global demand generation strategy in support of the business strategy/objectives, including end-to-end campaigns and aligned sales plays. The World Wide demand generation strategy integrates the right mix of Digital and Organic Marketing, Channel Enablement, Channel Co-Marketing, Thought Leadership, Relationship Marketing, Communications, and Direct Response Advertising to generate new leads and move existing leads through the cycle of belief to realizing value. The Worldwide Demand Programs Manager collaborates with other marketing disciplines (Market management, Market intelligence, External Relations, and Corporate/Brand Advertising) and IBM Agencies to ensure that messages developed for inbound & outbound touches embody the IBM Brand and brand quality. The Regional Demand Program Professional collaborates with Regional Market Segment Manager and Enablement to leverage local insight and select the appropriate programs, campaigns and sales plays to support local business objectives. The Regional Demand Programs professional leverages available Worldwide Demand Programs campaign and sales play strategies, plans, offers, and assets, tailoring them as needed for the local market and ensuring an effective local response and lead management process to support campaign execution and deliver on agreed-to local objectives. The Regional Demand Programs professional ensures local messaging reflects IBM's Brand in a quality manner and that they are well-coordinated and well-timed in the local marketplace. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
