Job description
The Worldwide WebSphere team offers high performance candidates a chance to expand their visibility and sphere of influence by driving high-impact activity in all geographies where IBM does business.

WebSphere Appliances Global Sales Operations role responsibilities:

• Supporting DataPower sales in all geographies
• Overall Management of opportunity to order stages
• Educating Websphere representatives on Sales plays, and upcoming marketing activities
• Help coordinate resources for Data Power order fulfillment
• Responsible for opportunity validation and interlock with weekly pipeline reviews
• Responsible for accurately representing pipeline to manufacturing as part of forecast process to manage supply side
• Manage Firm Order exception process at month/quarter ends (critical)
• Manage order submission/booking with the IBM Software group ordering system and Appliance Manager teams
• Make sure all credit checks competed
• Work with IBM Software group ordering system to ensure that all orders flow to manufacturing as expected
• Work with IBM Software group ordering system to make sure all orders invoiced
• For complex orders/bottom line contracts, orders must be entered in
• Coordinate with IBM technology services group for Service Extension and any special terms negotiation/bids required

Required Skills:
• Experience working in a global role
• Experience working in an appliance business

Preferred Skills:
• DataPower experience
Required
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 3 years experience in Apply Knowledge of Software Group Org and Brand Structure
  • At least 3 years experience in Use IBM Standard Business Tools & Applications
  • At least 3 years experience in DataPower Sales experience
  • At least 3 years experience in Global Sales Support Role
  • Readiness to travel 10% travel annually
  • English: Fluent
