| Job description |
| This role supports transfer of responsibility for service
delivery from the customer to the delivery organization during the
initial stages of the contract. Scope of responsibility for Transition
Managers range from only a subset of delivery transfer to responsibility
for the overall transition and/or transformation program/solution.
Transition Managers are expected to know and apply standard
methodologies to support the execution development and coordination of
winning transition solutions and costs during all phases of transition
including appropriate closure activities. Transition Managers are
client-facing and have a focus on client satisfaction and the overall
client relationship. |
Required
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 10 years experience in DC Relocation Experience
- At least 10 years experience in Midrange Relocation Experience
- At least 10 years experience in Perform Transition Planning
- At least 10 years experience in Use Microsoft Project
- At least 10 years experience in Apply Financial Mgmt & Forecasting Technique
- At least 10 years experience in Manage Complex Projects
- At least 10 years experience in Perform Project Management System Execution
- At least 10 years experience in Perform complex Program Manager-Business Integration
- At least 10 years experience in Lead Teams
- Readiness to travel 75% travel annually
- English: Fluent

- Certified in Project Management

Additional information
This role is responsible for successful delivery of IBM's largest
and most complex client commitments. This role requires a team leader,
an astute business person, exhibit business insight, show
executive/boardroom presence, judgment and executive level oral and
written communications skills. Position requires leading a team of
Project Managers responsible for mufti-million dollar infrastructure and
data center relocation projects in support of large-scale enterprise
changes. |
