We
are looking for a Director of HR, for Professional Services reporting
to the VP of HR. This is a highly visible executive responsible for
leading all aspects of HR for Pivotal’s Services organization. The
position is based in San Francisco Bay area, CA
GENERAL SUMMARY
The Line HR Director is responsible for working with a major functional group in the organization to understand business strategy and develop HR programs and initiatives in support of those business requirements as well as corporate initiatives. Line HR Directors develop the HR strategy for a functional group, under the Corporate HR umbrella and manage the implementation of those programs through internal or external resources. Line HR Directors manage staffs of HR people who deal with employee relations, management development, benefits training and the full range of HR programs. The Line HR director is responsible for assuring the effective delivery of HR services to the line organization as well as identifying opportunities to increase organizational effectiveness and/or employee productivity and well being.
