Job description
  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates IBM SPSS Modeler capabilities and solutions in the market
  • Communicate the value proposition of the product to IBM sellers and partners and develop the sales tools that support the sales cycle
  • Plan the launch of new releases and play a key role in the cross-functional implementation of the plan
  • Be the expert on your buyers, how they buy, and their buying criteria; be the expert on your competition and how to displace them
  • Help develop the strategy for the marketing programs that drive demand for your products through all channels
  • Determine, plan, and measure all of the vectors through which the product will meet its revenue goals including channels, geography, and industries.
  • Provide Product Management with clear market requirements linked clearly to present and future opportunities and work with Product Management to determine requirement priorities.
  • Act as a key evangelist for the use of IBM SPSS Modeler with a deep familiarity of key customer engagements including technology used and results attained.
  • Work closely with fellow Product Marketing Managers to ensure transparency, communication of activity, and constant alignment to the overall market strategy for Predictive and Business Intelligence products and solutions.
  • Required
    • Bachelor's Degree
    • At least 5 years experience in Predictive Analytics, Statistics, Business Intelligence
    • Readiness to travel 10% travel annually
    • English: Fluent
    Preferred
    • Mathematics
