Position Summary

As a Researcher you will build and transfer technology competence to ensure technology leadership and profitable business for Ericsson by:

Contributing to Ericsson technology strategy

Developing novel concepts, solutions and algorithms and protect them with IPR

Driving standardization and industry alignments

Introducing the solutions into product development

Presenting prototypes, concept demonstrations and publications

Responsibilities & Tasks:

Perform, document and communicate research studies, measurements or computer simulations

Create new technical solutions and protect them with IPRs

Represent Ericsson in external forums such as standardization, university collaborations, and customer meetings

Supervise and coach other researcher

Develop evaluation tools, demonstrators or testbeds

Minimum Qualififcation & Experience Requirements

The theoretical qualification should be M Sc or equivalent. Practical experience is not required

Strong analytical skills and ability to acquire new knowledge and apply it in the job

Good communication skills in written and spoken English

Creativity and ability to work independently

Preferred Qualification & Experience Requirements

MSc degree or equivalent or PhD or Licentiate degree

Very strong analytical skills and ability to acquire new knowledge apply it and spread it to others

Very good communication skills in written and spoken English and good presentation skills

Ability to formulate problems and solve them independently. Creativity and ability to develop and drive new ways of working, to produce research results in a more efficient way

Skills in supervising master thesis students and Researchers

Ability to create Ericsson Internal and external contact network
