Job Summary

Radar is Apple Inc.'s world-class defect tracking application. The IS&T for R&D team is seeking a Technical Evangelist to help define, promote and evangelize Radar. We are looking to you to define and drive a vision for our enterprise solutions. You will share in a commitment to excellence by partnering with several groups, all driven to support innovation; including software engineering, hardware engineering, Operations, AppleCare, Mobile engineering and more. You will be involved in several areas including design, evangelism, customer relations, user needs analysis, monitoring, and measuring adoption success. The ideal candidate knows how to align business strategies that yield workflow efficiencies and then promote and communicate those efficiencies to our global user base. You will work with some of the coolest people and technologies on the planet, including: OS X, Cocoa, iOS, Oracle, JSON restful web services, and web platform technologies including Spring, Hibernate, JBoss, Apache, and more. This is an exciting role, demanding a strong background in technology, software engineering, fostering partnerships, and strength in communication.

Description

You will be responsible for synergy between parallel development teams and implementation of various related projects. Your responsibilities include working with the business users to define the project scope; developing architecture and detail design; formulating and executing project plans; and managing the cross-functional project teams. Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial. Proven track record bringing global projects to completion meeting or succeeding requirements. Thrive in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment, operating at both strategic and tactical levels. Knowledge of Mac OS X, Keynote, and basic project planning tools required.

Education

BA/BS required. 5+ years global workforce planning experience or Computer Science with an emphasis on design patterns.

Additional Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise and experience in multi-tiered application development. Familiarity with developing large scale, volume based applications.
