What You’ll Do
As an IT Business Analyst for
John Deere in Moline, IL, you will work with the HR process owners,
functional analysts and project team members to support existing SAP/HR
Benefits functions. This position will work closely with the SAP Payroll
team and HR Business Partners on the analysis of business needs,
configuration, and design of US/Canadian benefits and integration with
the new payroll system. In addition, you will work with complex business
rules, gather requirements, apply system development methodologies to
identify, analyze, select, design, integrate, build, test, and implement
technology solutions of high complexity.
What It Takes
We
need an excellent communicator, both written and verbal, who thrives on
solving problems and working in a global team environment. Ideally, you
will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a similar
discipline and/or equivalent work experience. We also require:

Understanding of computer technology, methodology, and full life-cycle development
-
Ability to analyze, translate, and define business requirements into technical solutions
-
Ability to collaborate with business leaders to provide information technology solutions demonstrated through strong proven project management skills
-
Skill in interpersonal communication, negotiation, supplier management relations and conflict resolution
-
Knowledge of multiple business processes of assigned area(s) and/or function(s)
-
Understanding of application development, database, and infrastructure capabilities and constraints (multiple Data Base Management Systems, DBMSs)
-
Experience in multiple SAP HR functions (e.g. PA, Benefits, Pensions, Payroll)
-
Experience implementing SAP HR system changes including leading analysis of requirements, design, configuration and testing
A strong candidate will also have:

4+ years of experience implementing major Information Technology programs or projects that are broad in scope or multi-unit/cross divisional
-
8+ years of Information technology experience and/or business experience
-
A broad background of business experience within or outside the Company
-
4+ years of demonstrated team leadership and mentoring experience
