The Division Order Analyst role provides support for Onshore Lease
Traders. The individual assists the Senior Division Order Analyst and
will also be responsible for maintaining royalty ownership for a
specific geographical area. This position requires the individual to
have an understanding of the lease crude business, standard oil and gas
leases, conveyance documents and other legal forms of title
documentation.

- Review pay sheets and conduct due diligence for new owners; set up ownership in a well
- Maintain ownership in a well for the life of that well
- Respond to owner inquiries, research and answer questions in a timely manner within a specific geographical area
- Work with Lease Analysts on set up of new leases and maintenance of existing leases
- Work with Lease Tax Analysts on MMS reporting and relevant tax issues
- Do due diligence and research suspense balances to release or escheat owner payments
- Review and research legal documents and take appropriate action
- Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full time basis other than your current employer
- High school diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years professional experience
- Minimum of one (1) year working with leases from the First Purchaser perspective preferred
- PLM certificate preferred
- Experience with interpreting leases, contracts and Division Order required documents such as Title Opinions, Probates, Deeds and Assignments to determine ownership is preferred
- Must be able to work independently, make decisions and take appropriate action
- Be able to communicate effectively with operations/technical staff and management
- Possess skills in Microsoft Office suite with emphasis on Word, Excel and Access
- Must work well under pressure, meeting deadlines consistently
- Have the ability to multi-task and have strong attention to detail
- Have strong listening, written and oral communication skills
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networks
