SENIOR SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR


Ensures optimum information access and server infrastructure performance and integrity. Ensures consistency and synchronization across server platform and integrates other infrastructure components. Ensures server performance optimization, and maintenance by following operational procedures for maintaining and upgrading server platforms. Involved in supporting new and existing applications. Works with other IT groups and business units, troubleshooting and resolving technical problems. Job families are used globally by multiple functions.


PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Leads cross functional teams to design computing architecture


· Ensures proper resolution of problems that have been escalated


· Ensures proper deployment of new computing architecture in accordance with practices and standards.


· Ensure that the technical environment is properly maintained and that any problems are rectified.


· Identify system performance issues and drives the development of tools to correct.


· Provides technical expertise in cross-functional and intra-departmental efforts.


· Mentor less experienced administrators.


· Strong understanding and competence in virtual computing environment

· Ability to work effectively with senior management.
· Possesses strong product/technology/industry knowledge.

Education Required: Bachelors (Technical)

Experience Required: 4+ years relevant experience
