Job Location: Apex, NC
Responsible for running diagnostic procedures and basic troubleshooting of systems to the module level. Interpret appropriate error messages and take the proper corrective action. Working from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, or defined plans utilizing manufacturing test development or diagnostic equipment performs functions such as design, test, checkout, modification, fabrication, and assembly.
- Escalate technical issues to more experienced techs as needed. Good knowledge of the job, and company policies and principles.
- Identify
defective materials, highlight failure trends/low yields and maintain
test logs. Applies standard policies and procedures.
- Follow written and verbal standard operating procedures and production schedule. Works under general supervision.
- Achieve balanced inventory levels via appropriate manual and automated transactions.
- Diagnose
test errors and test status from diagnostic codes and related
indicators. Transfer daily status information to other shift personnel
or supervisors.
- Identify, follow-through, resolve problems and recommend improvements in all outstanding issues within assigned area.
- Able to test equipment in multiple product lines.
