Essential:
- Master's degree, preferably in computer science, applied mathematics, statistics, or a related quantitative discipline
- 5 years of experience in product management, consulting, or a related function in the software industry
Additional:
- Expertise in the application of semantic web methodologies
- Experience with one or more text analytics software packages
- Strong awareness of technology trends and knowledge of competitive landscape and open source technologies
- Excellent technical acumen and understanding of product management and related marketing methodologies
- Superior project management, organizational, and analytical problem solving skills
- Ability to translate complex technical and business information for diverse audiences
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and negotiation skills
- Ability to travel occasionally as the job requires
Preferences:
- Experience with Web 2.0 and semantic web related technologies
- Experience with multimedia processing (e.g. speech-to-text, video search)
- Demonstrated understanding of analytical techniques and experience in applying them to solve business problems
- Experience using SAS analytic software or other analytic software such as SPSS or R
- Background with handling big data and building high load environment and methodologies like Hadoop and MapReduce
- Experience with Social Media, online or web analytics tools and marketing domains
- Experience with data management, modeling and integration products
