Location: Cincinnati, OH
- Maintain statistics for use in analysis of crime and incident trends to prepare reports for presentation.
- Make crime scene assessments and arrests or directs the arrest of persons in violation of Federal or State law(s).
- Conduct interviews and interrogations.
- Assist in the vulnerability survey of the field station.
- Responsible for evidence i.e. ensure accuracy of evidencedocumentation, keep disposition logs, etc.
- Conducts training regarding proper handling, collecting and packaging of evidence for all VA Police Officers.
- Develop and use specialized investigative techniques, devices and procedure.
Work Schedule: 1st Shift 7:30am to 4:00pm Monday-Friday (However investigations could extend beyond the span of a single shift)

Promotion Potential: The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met. Selection at a lower grade level does not guarantee promotion to the full performance level.
