The Position

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

·     Develop HEOR strategy for the medical plan for amarketed product in neurology
·     Design, develop, conduct and manage HEOR studiesfor assigned product(s) and indication(s).
·     Develop, maintain and apply in-depth knowledgeof role, disease state and clinical topics, market/ customer landscape, andemerging issues.
·     Work independently with minimal guidance,direction and mentoring from manager and others to clarify directions andexpand knowledge and skills.
·     Proactively collaborate with various functionsincluding medical directors, commercial, managed care marketing, developmentand other gMed functions to ensure alignment of activities with key partnersand stakeholders.
·     Lead and/or participate in HEOR andcross-functional projects.
·     Manage budgets, timelines and deliverables asplanned.
·     Lead and/or participate in HEOR andcross-functional projects.
·     Attend customer and other external meetings toadvance learning, build relationships, and demonstrate Genentech’s value.
·     Participate in all required Genentech and HEORtraining and development programs.
·     Comply with all internal policies and externalregulations.

Who You Are

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
·     Masters Degree (health economics, epidemiology,life sciences, public health); Doctoral Degree in above or other relateddisciplines is preferred.

·     Minimum 4-6 years of professional experience ina relevant field (e.g. health economics, outcomes research, epidemiology,clinical development, pricing & reimbursement).

·     Approximately 2-3 years' relevant healtheconomics and outcomes research in or with the pharmaceutical/biotechnology,medical device industry.

·     Demonstrated technical expertise in healtheconomics and outcomes research, design of prospective and retrospectivestudies and pharmacoeconomic modeling.

·     Excellent written and oral communication skills.

·     Demonstrated effectiveness working with teamsand leading teams.

·     Knowledge of the overall drug development,medical affairs, and post-marketing planning relevant topharmaceutical/biotechnology organizations.
