This position is currently eligible
for a telework and/or compressed workweek arrangement at the present
time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job
acclimation purposes, and remains subject to change.
What You'll Do
At John Deere Intelligent Solutions Group in Urbandale, IA as a Program Manager,
you will be part of building industry altering new mobile applications
and technology for agriculture that will directly improve the
efficiencies of our customers operations. In the role you will:
- Be a Program Manager for MyJohnDeere.com Platform projects.
- Manage the definition development, scope, schedule, cost and execution of the projects.
- Facilitate the definition of the product strategy for web and mobile applications.

Degree in Engineering/Technology, Agricultural Sciences or equivalent
experience in a related career field. In addition we require:
- Experience of and practical experience with an Agile development process.
- Skill in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
- Experience with business policies and procedures, ideally including the policies and procedures of John Deere.
- Knowledge in engineering & IT principles, theory and practice as well as product knowledge.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%.
A strong candidate will also have:
- A general understanding of IT Development, specifically Mobile & Web Development.
- A general understanding of software development process.
- 5+ yrs of Project Management experience
