This senior-level position reports to the Head
of Fraud in GE Capital Retail Finance and will manage a team providing
the business with policies and strategic direction to mitigate Fraud
losses in retail deposits, private label credit cards, credit cards, and
acquisitions. This role will be the key liaison from the Fraud team to
the Risk Portfolio Management team, client teams, and will have direct
contact with GECRF Retail clients.
Manage, hire and train a staff of exempt project/strategy managers
Manage projects to ensure successful implementation of fraud strategies, tools and processes
Identify and develop requirements associated with new RF portfolio and product rollouts
Identify the root causes of recent fraud losses associated with RF accounts and determine create solutions
Manage dashboards and reporting designed to track portfolio losses associated with RF portfolios
Collaborate with the Fraud Operations team to identify recent fraud patterns, trends and rings associated with RF portfolios
Lead communication with cross-functional team members associated with RF portfolio projects
Oversee, develop and maintain project plans, status reports, and issue resolution logs
Communicate and enforce deadlines associated with project implementations
Present updates and results to executive management and peers as needed
Contribute to large fraud write off account analysis and
the identification & implementation of process, procedures and/or
strategy changes to mitigate future occurrences
Review and recommend chargeback policies for new & renewing clients
Work closely with Fraud Investigations to ensure that all chargeback opportunities are pursued
Manage all New Client Setups (strategies, policies & procedures) with Build Strategy Managers
Develop call scripting and plan outbound fraud call campaigns
BS/BA degree
Minimum 10 years' experience in implementing financial services industries
Experience with Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project required

Master’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Criminal Justice, Business, or Statistics.
Project management experience
Understanding of SAS and/or SQL programming
Experience system platforms including MasterCard, Visa, Discover and FDR
Knowledge of data sources, data warehouses and database tools
Superb communication skills and experience with interacting successfully at all levels within the RCF organization
Outstanding collaborative and team management style
