Serves as direct line project manager of
business solutions projects in support of Record to Report Enterprise
Standards. Leads the build and run of the Enterprise Standard Hyperion
Financial Management for GE Corporate. Develops, sells and implements
comprehensive project plans. Identifies critical path decisions, makes
recommendations, influences global process leaders and business
integration leads. Leads effective working relationships
Partner
with R2R finance leaders & business integration leads to design
& deploy HFM to support the consolidation of the company financials
Lead application design, project execution and support for
cross-business financial solutions supporting Corporate Finance and
Financial Reporting. Propose business process enhancements,
simplification opportunities, and alternative solutions to drive
consolidation, standardization and cost out across financial programs
Develop and implement comprehensive project plans,
including setting strategy for project team structure and resource
alignment, managing activities and milestones, and regularly
communicating with stakeholders
Manage budget and contracts necessary for meeting project
objectives on time. Engage in annual budgeting process to ensure proper
resource allocations are planned for future growth
Provide leadership and guide 3rd party consultants
throughout the systems development lifecycle to ensure quality, IT SDLC,
and compliance requirements are met
Establish process and system documentation in accordance with SOx and Mission Critical application requirements
Manage the expectations of the customers, balancing their
needs and wants, with educating where appropriate. Manage a dynamic and
demanding business client base as IT client lead for financial
consolidation, closing, planning and analysis functions of finance
Proactively drive the prioritization and IT resource planning to support business objectives and key initiatives for HFM
Participate in the preparation of long-range systems plans and assure that they align with business objectives and goals
Ensure compliance to system architecture, methods, standards, practices and participate in their creation
Develop peer, cross-functional and cross-GE Business relationships to maximize best practice sharing and team effectiveness
Keep abreast with the new tools and technologies as well as
other advancements made in the Fusion, EPM, and BI spaces including
pre-packaged applications
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Management,
Finance or other technical / IT field, OR at least 7 years of relevant
IT work experience
Minimum 5 years IT experience working with system analysis, design and implementation
Minimum 2 years of Hyperion System 9 and / or 11 level experience
Minimum 5 years of Hyperion HFM ExperienceEligibility Requirements:

Strong knowledge of financial systems, financial cycles and processes
Experience with complex, global system implementations
Skilled in master data design & governance practices
Well versed in Oracle EBS, Hyperion, SAP financial toolsets
Knowledge of other Financial Systems (I.e. Oracle Financials, OBIEE, ODI, DRM, etc.)
Proven experience in onshore and offshore team management
Sarbanes Oxley experience desired
Experience / knowledge with HFM (Hyperion Financial Manager)
Excellent influencing, interpersonal and communications skills (both written and verbal) with all levels of an organization
Self-starter; requires minimal direction to accomplish goals
