GE Aviation's Supply Chain JOLP opportunity is an industry leading, development program for JMO’s transitioning from military service. JOLP is a 2 yr program that provides you with broad Supply Chain / Manufacturing Operations leadership opportunities along with exposure to our various core processes, teams and businesses. The program focuses on building operational leaders for supply chain management, manufacturing operations, sourcing and project management.
This leadership program consists of three, eight-month rotations in different Supply Chain functions such as:
  • Manufacturing Operations
  • Sourcing
  • Material Planning and Management
  • Quality
  • Environmental Health & Safety
    The program includes curriculum based training components focusing on leadership, business acumen, Lean Six Sigma and management skills required to be a GE leader. These challenging rotational opportunities provide valuable contacts and experiences that can accelerate the development of your technical, business and professional skills. In addition, you will:
  • Take responsibility for and perform in a series of challenging roles where you will be able to make a real impact on the organization
  • Learn and adapt, to quickly gain situational and organizational awareness in a dynamic business environment and add value in your assigned role
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College or University
  • Minimum of 5 years commissioned service
    Eligibility Requirements:
  • Ability and willingness to relocate as required
  • GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening. Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen.
  • Deployment and combat leadership experiences
  • Demonstrated history of taking the most challenging assignments
  • Completion of elite military training (Flight, Nuke, Ranger, SEAL, SFQC, etc.)
  • Ability to solve problems, delegate and achieve difficult goals
  • Tested project management/execution skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly and eager to learn and master new roles
  • Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or technical area
  • Advanced degree in engineering, business or related supply chain field
  • Excellent military service record including increasing responsibilities and leadership experience
