Do you want to see more Windows Phones ship more frequently? So do we. Our team develops and ships tools that enhance the ability to test, debug and automate testing on new Windows Phone devices. We're looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) who is experienced with developing tools and infrastructure and wants a chance to learn about the newest mobile devices coming to Windows Phone. The position will provide opportunity to reach out to our partners at various OEM's helping Microsoft to understand and assist with the OEM workflow. There will be ample opportunity to dig in and understand truly end to end scenarios. What we need from you: - 2+ years of professional test/QA experience. - Knowledge of all aspects of testing end-user products: Functional, Performance, Security, Globalization, Stress, Usability, etc. - Deep coding experience in C++ and/or C# and building reliable, maintainable and effective test automation - Proven experience driving quality of complex features with lots of dependencies and integration points - Strong communication skills - Strong Testing skills and the desire and ability to find great bugs before our customers do - Ability to shift and ramp up quickly in different areas of the product - B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent field The ideal candidate will also possess one or more of the following: - Experience developing or testing software for Mobile OS - Experience developing or testing developer tools - Experience developing or testing developer tools
