Essential Responsibilities	Lead, drive & deliver design for manufacturing (DFM) and design to cost (DTC) initiatives across the new products under design & development and legacy products Lead & establish the best practices & consistency for design processes & design practices across the multiple NPI programs Implement LEAN and six sigma philosophy to improve the design processes, reduce design deficiencies, expedite NPI process & achieve DFM and DTC objectives Drive cost reduction initiatives e.g. MCP (Material Cost Productivity) & VCP (Variable Cost Productivity) across NPI programs Work closely with sourcing team & supply chain to drive key initiatives for reducing lead time to expedite NPI process Be able to jump into lead & drive new initiatives to support the business needs Lead & drive lessons learned documentation and effective utilization across the programs Develop and maintain a productive working climate, promoting teamwork, and cross-functional efforts
Qualifications/Requirements	Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university Minimum 5 additional years of experience in Lean manufacturing environment or product development
