For the IT & Process Excellence (ITPE) team at GE Healthcare (GEHC), this IT leader serves as the key IT liaison and process expert in specialty area of project management office activities such as validation and quality management system. Drive program delivery excellence through continuous process improvement, improved employee competence and fostering a culture of discipline and program rigor.

Partial relocation assistance is available for this role.
• Establishes standards for software quality and reliability, process rigor, and/or project management rigor to ensure quality deliverables for specialty area
• Responsible for program budgets and/or cost centers, resource allocation and planning for specialty area to ensure delivery of business benefits
• Responsible for pausing and recalibrating activities if standards are not being met
• Responsible for people management activities in specialty area including recruiting, development, performance management, compensation, organization and teaming
• Responsible for program budgets and/or cost centers, resource allocation and planning in specialty area to ensure delivery of business benefits
• Responsible for maintaining the three year strategy roadmap for ITPE and delivering the IT Capacity elements of the roadmap
• Responsible for delivering process improvements that will enable year over year ITPE program delivery productivity
• Responsible for monitor of ITPE program delivery metrics and recommended actions based on the metrics
• Strong leadership skills and demonstrated experience leading teams
• Ability to motivate employees
• Ability to drive change and influence ITPE culture
• Ability to establish a team strategy and link team and employee objectives to that strategy
• Demonstrated project management skills including project initiation, scoping, resourcing, scheduling, budgeting, risk management and communication
• Project management experience in global environments
• Awareness of and ability to deliver compliance requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interface and influence at all levels in the organization
• Demonstrated ability to excel in a global matrix organization, including matrix leadership
• Analytic, creative and business-focused problem solver
• BS Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent
• Minimum eight years IT experience
• Ability to learn complex systems and business processes and define requirements for solutions
• Understanding of IT technologies and how to apply them
• Ability to travel up to 20%
