Job Summary & Responsibilities

Duties: Develop the user interface and business logic for the Trading application for Goldman Sachs Asset Management.  Gather and document business requirements.  Design and develop technical solutions to business problems.  Perform code reviews.  Deploy application releases to production.  Provide user support.

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

Job Requirements: Masters degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or Management Information Systems or Bachelor’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or Management Information Systems or three (3) years (with Master’s) of experience in the job offered or in related computer programming, application maintenance and support, or software development role using relational database and .Net/C# or Java or five (5) years (with Bachelor’s) of experience in the job offered or in related computer programming, application maintenance and support, or software development role using relational database and .Net/C# or Java.  Must have one (1) year of experience: developing GUI applications utilizing Java or C# for financial/trading systems; developing applications utilizing Agile methodology; with entire software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and production deployment; developing applications for financial industry; and providing user support, including setting up entitlements, fixing data issues, responding to adhoc user requests, and communicating to users about systems down time.
