The Material Handler will handle functions in support of the warehouse. This is a 2nd shift opportunity.
In addition, you will:
  • Receive items that are in warehouse location and move to stocking locations
  • Move materials from separate buildings to stock locations, as required
  • Stock items from stocked location for order pullers and pickers
  • Ensure items are stocked in correct locations
  • Pull work orders for production and warehouse in a manufacturing environment
  • Pick orders for external shipment
  • Fill back orders
  • Use RF scanner guns to move and transact order movement
  • Make transactions in our system
  • Potentially spend at least 2 hours a day on a forklift
  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Minimum of 6 months of forklift experienceELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job
  • Ability and willingness to obtain and maintain a Class A CDL (Commercial Driver’s License)
  • GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening. Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen.
