The Channel Audit Program Lead will be responsible to manage the process, schedule and perform audits of F&PT valve sales and service channel partners. This will include approximately 40% travel to perform audits.
The Channel Audit Program Lead will be responsible for managing and tracking the audit schedule for our Masoneilan and Consolidated valve channel partners. Channel partners are certified 3rd party distributor and service companies who purchase and resell F&PT valves and who may be certified by F&PT to set, test, inspect, and possibly assemble pressure relief and pressure control valves. In this role, you will integrate and improve the business processes to track and perform the audits across the global organization, and will be expected to perform the majority of the North America audits. The successful candidate will have functional expertise to set, test, and inspect Masoneilan and Consolidated valves.In addition, you will:
  • Develop regional contacts to compile a comprehensive list of channel partners and the scope and timing of their current certifications
  • Track and manage upcoming channel audit schedules using GenSuite or other designated system
  • Develop constructive working relationships with our channel partners which aids them in maintaining and expanding their functional and process competencies
  • Identify and expand the available channel audit resource population globally
  • Lead regional stabilization and standardization of the audit process
  • Support expansion of audit report and analysis
  • Drive corrective actions
  • Promote a culture
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 3 years of related industry experienceELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 40% of the year to perform channel audits, primarily in North America but occasionally in other regions, as required
  • GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening. Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen.
  • Experience in either internal or supplier audits to GE standards
  • Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills
  • Ability to achieve excellent performance in individual and team environments
  • Demonstrated ability for on-time performance in a challenging work environment
  • Demonstrated technical experience in a field service, product service, manufacturing QC or other industrial service background
  • Six Sigma Green Belt, or equivalent Quality Certification
  • GE certified auditor or lead auditor
  • RCA leader certified
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in customer service
  • Prior experience in the inspection, set and test of Consolidated and/or Masoneilan valves
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
