And EDGE is growing! We are currently looking to add a new Performance Analyst to the Investment Operations team!  This is an exciting opportunity to work with a growing boutique firm that has support/resources from a larger parent organization.

As a Performance Analyst, you will work closely with the investment and sales & marketing teams and be the go-to person for reporting and analysis needs across our equity and fixed income asset classes.   This includes monitoring and maintaining data integrity in analytical and other tools and automating the reporting of portfolio and firm-level data.  You will provide support as a member of our Investment Operations team and will assist as needed for our back and middle office investment operations functions, which are done by our parent company in Des Moines, IA.  You will also have the opportunity to contribute to other general projects and interface with all areas of the firm.

Qualifications:

This position requires a college degree, preferably in finance, mathematics or economics.  4 -6 years of experience with performance and data analysis in an investment related field is required.  The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience as a self-starter.

Demonstrated advanced knowledge of investment concepts and how they relate to market factors.  Strong problem solving, analytical, and math skills with high attention to detail required.  Must have the ability to build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively across business units.  Must have the ability to take initiative, work independently, and meet strict deadlines in a fast moving environment.  Must be able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.  Must possess strong business acumen and risk awareness.  Must have strong working knowledge of PC and system capabilities/techniques, including advanced experience with spreadsheets/databases and word processing.

Experience with FactSet, Microsoft Reporting Services and SQL preferred.

Work toward CIPM or CFA preferred.

Periodic travel to Des Moines, IA required.
