MacCap's LA Gaming, Lodging & Leisure team is looking for an Analyst to join their office.
Macquarie Capital (MacCap) comprises Macquarie Group's corporate advisory, debt/equity underwriting and principal investment businesses.
Headquartered in Sydney, the firm maintains offices in North America, Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Europe, South Africa and the Middle East. MacCap continues to build and expand its North American presence and has experienced significant growth over the past several years.
MacCap provides a depth of services including specialist capabilities in:
- Mergers and acquisitions, takeovers and corporate restructuring advice
- Debt structuring and distribution
- Principal investing across the entire capital structure

About the Gaming, Lodging and Leisure Team :
Based in Los Angeles, the Gaming, Lodging and Leisure team provides full-service investment banking solutions to clients on a global basis. Macquarie's senior Gaming, Lodging and Leisure team has a 20 year track record as a leader in the industry and has been involved in over 36 transactions since joining Macquarie in May 2011, including numerous industry defining transactions. Clients include several of the largest and most significant corporate and private equity participants in the industry. In addition to its advisory and capital markets expertise, Macquarie offers unique, tailored capital solutions for clients in the gaming, lodging and leisure space by using our own balance sheet to invest across the capital structure from senior secured debt to common stock.
By leveraging Macquarie's global capabilities, you will apply your investment banking knowledge to assist our clients in meeting their financial and strategic needs. You will also be expected to participate in the full execution of advisory, capital raising and principal transactions; in the pursuit of new business opportunities; and in the servicing of existing portfolio investments including debt and equity positions.

Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in investment banking (M&A and leveraged/bank finance experience would be valued)
- Graduate of leading national/global college or university
- Experience in Microsoft Office applications and financial modeling
- Understanding of financial statements, accounting and finance
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced and challenging work environment
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional work ethic as well as time and process management skills
