Description

The Billing Analyst performs complex research and analysis to provide management with definitive financial data and recommendations for use in short-term strategic planning/reporting and decision-making on major issues for Albridge, an affiliate of Pershing. S/He prepares financial and accounting policies, reports, and statements and reviews performance trends, performs complex financial accounting, or systems analyses to assist management in measuring and evaluating departmental and corporate performance. The incumbent designs new or revised reporting policies, procedures, and reports which provide effective financial planning, accounting, and reporting of financial information. The Billing Analyst also ensures that all new/updated customer contracted rates agree with the billing application rate database. S/he will ensure receipt and accuracy of all raw billing date from multiple sources and will actively follow up on overdue accounts receivables.

Qualifications

• The qualified candidate will have 5+ years of related experience.
• S/He should have knowledge of advanced accounting and finance concepts and analysis techniques, and the ability to apply them in a broad business area.
• The ability to provide concise, accurate written reports/ memoranda is essential as is the ability to make effective oral presentations.
• The ability to design financial models and databases on the personal computer is also important.
• Experience with Great Plains Software is a major plus.
• Strong problem resolution and detail-orientedness, strong interpersonalskills are preferred.
• Excellent MS Word and Excel are highly preferred.
