Job Summary
Apple’s
Applications Group is seeking a Senior Motion Graphics Designer to work
on consumer software applications for the Mac and iPhone. Candidate is
well versed in motion graphics, graphic design, UI design, and 3D
applications. Core duties include user interface concepting, animation,
and design for next generation software. The ideal candidate is a
brilliant problem solver, quick study, self starter, and excellent
communicator who possesses a passion for great design and the ability to
achieve it.
Key Qualifications
- Degree in graphic design, motion graphics, interaction design, or equivalent
- 5 years experience designing software user interfaces
- Demonstrable fluency with motion graphics software, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other design tools
- Experience with prototyping tools (Flash & Director). Familiarity with Quartz Composer a plus
- Complete mastery of OS X and iPhone OS. Experience with iLife and iWork a big plus
- Expert knowledge of user-centered design principles
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent collaborative skills
- Comfortable working in a loosely structured organization
- Highly professional, with the ability to deliver solid work on tight schedules
