Job Summary
In
this role you will work on the design team responsible for the look,
feel and overall user experience for Apple's Consumer Applications. You
will be working within a cross-functional team including engineers,
producers, product managers as well as collaborating with other
designers. The unique requirement for this role is the ability to truly
bring concepts, yours and others, to life. For this we require a
candidate that is familiar with animation design, conceptualizing, and
proposing new ways to solve a design need.
Key Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will possess:
- *Excellent animation and visual design skills
- *An exceptional understanding of design principles and animation or prototyping foundations.
- *Experience with 3D design and 3D animation
- *A good grasp of underlying technical concepts
- *An understanding of the Mac OS X and iOS platforms
- *Strong communication and organizational skills
- *A strong body of work depicting visually stunning and innovative design
- Software Skills
- *Expert level knowledge of graphic design tools, such as: Photoshop and Illustrator
- *Advanced level of knowledge of animation tools, such as: Apple's Motion and After Effects
- *Advanced level of knowledge of 3D animation tools, such as: Cinema 4D, Modo or Maya
Description
A
passion for elegant design, incorporation of new innovative
technologies and animating your designs (two-dimensionally or
three-dimensionally) is decisive to this role. Attention to detail, a
gifted aesthetic eye and the ability to quickly grasp and distill highly
complex matters are all crucial.
Education
