Key Qualifications
- Proficient in advanced Big Data methodologies such as data modeling, validation, processing, including scaling real-time systems
- Expertise with BI (SQL, OLAP) and Big Data (Hadoop, Hive and/or Pig) tools with experience writing and tuning queries in a online or offline environment.
- Deep expertise with Java and Big Data processing tools (Hadoop and Storm, Flume, etc. a plus), including an understanding of the proper software development methodologies to use those in production pipelines
- Hard working, self-starter, proven ability to manage multiple projects to strict deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of end users and technical resources
