    Overview

    Vega has a current opening for a full-time Sales Merchandising Representative.  We are seeking an energetic and dynamic professional to join our growing sales team.  The core responsibility of this role is to work with our key accounts at the store level to ensure execution of promotional activity, secure and lead product demonstrations and drive sell through.
    You take customer service and sales seriously, but have fun at work with the Vega team!  You value integrity and customer service; you take ownership and show initiative in everything you do and are performance driven.  You not only love the culture, but contribute to it.     Location

    This full-time position encompasses Houston, TX. Reliable vehicle access is required for local area trainings.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to Store and Department Managers
  • Secure, set-up and conduct product demonstrations in-stores
  • Provide product education to retail staff and shoppers
  • Encourage off shelf and inter-department displays
  • Partner with Strategic Account Lead to identify opportunity at store level to drive sales
  • Ensure proper pricing, POS and other sell through support is available on shelf and at store level
  • Provide detailed feedback and reporting  on status and progress of assigned projects
  • Lead and develop Demo Team for key accounts in the assigned territory as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

  • university Degree in Sales/Marketing preferred
  • 1-3 years merchandising or retail experience preferred
  • Knowledge and passion for a healthy lifestyle
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management skills, organized and a keen eye for detail
  • Own vehicle and have a valid driver’s license
  • Performance driven with desire to take on a high level of responsibility and work in a fast paced environment
  • Proactive with the ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision
  • Energetic with positive, fun-loving nature
  • Team player with ability and willingness to accept and provide feedback
