GENERAL SUMMARY
The
Sr. Systems Analyst plans and directs analysis of business problems to
be solved with automated systems. They also develop, write, and edit
computer-related functional and technical documentation. The Sr. Systems
Analyst will command meetings and coordinate peers to accomplish
projects and resolve problems. The Sr. Systems Analyst must be a self
starter and self sufficient requiring minimal supervision of day to day
issue tracking & resolution. The ideal Sr. Systems Analyst will
posses a unique blend of functional, technical, and people skills. The
Sr. Systems Analyst provides business systems analysis and support for a
multitude of applications used by Business Units and Administrative
functions across the company. The SystemsAnalyst plays a key role as a
subject matter expert and technical consultant throughout the lifecycle
of their assigned applications. The Analyst is heavily involved in
planning, implementation and production support. The Analyst
isresponsible for managing end-user client relationships while
responding to both critical and routine application support requests as
well as interfacing with software vendors and consultants for
development and support.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Extensive experience interpreting user needs and writing functional
specifications for new systems, systems changes and / or system
enhancements.

Presenting ideas in a focused and concise manner. Ability to create
compelling justification for recommended direction and design.
•
Accurately translating Business Requirements into system
functionality requirements. High aptitude for interpreting technical
documentation as well as authoring or updating documents as needed.
Ability to become a process and subject matter expert. Evaluate business
process implications of system requirements and make appropriate
redesign recommendations. Provide strategic technical insight with
respect to each functional area and shares expertise on concerns with
integrating with other current systems. Can quickly learn the
functionality of packaged applications and understand how to implement
and configure them tomeet a business' needs. Understand different
Computer Application Development technologies so, if needed, customized
automated solutions can be designed.

frequently interact with all levels of the organization.

Ability to interpret technical documentation to meet business
needs. Correctly identifies system / functional interdependencies.

Document and design current and future IT enabled solutions and
drive all relevant business analysis to ensure the most effective
recommendations are made forsuccessful solution and project plan
completion.
• Experience with Prototype development, data modeling, and both iterative and waterfallsystems development processes.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively work both independently and within cross functional project teams.

Demonstrated leadership skills mentoring more junior level staff
and leading meetings. Responsible for professional development and
career progression/performance of a small group of (junior) BAs. Mentor
one or more junior BAs. May be responsible for functional specifications
for mid and large scale projects (potentially overseeing junior BAs).
• Based on experience, can accurately estimate the cost and time to implement functional or Business unit level solutions.
• May lead or be directly responsible for coordinating testing, release management, and/or post go-live production support.

- Strong Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, Powerpoint, etc) required
• Possesses strong product/technology/industry knowledge.
- Experience with eService, Chat and Managed File Transfer applications a plus

- Experience in a Technical Global Services Environment a plus
Education:
Bachelors
Degree in a Business or Technical area with a MIS concentration
preferred. Lean Six Sigma plus other industry certifications desirable
based on functional expertise.
Experience Required:
At least 7 years of experience in supporting the deployment and support of Business Applications.
