Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership to a team of Quality engineers

• Own the strategy, goals and plans for your team’s success and contribute to the organization’s strategy, plans, and technology direction

• Collaborate with Product Management, Development & Support to define product quality needs and deliverables

• Identify trade-offs between short and long term by having a deep understanding of customer needs and technical choices

• Help your team solve for conflicting priorities and make timely, effective decisions

• Demonstrates strong technical and management skills to drives for results within their team

• Effectively lead team to work in Agile Scrum and serve as the scrum master for automation sprint

• Hire and effectively manage a diverse and talented set of employees.

• Provide technical direction, coaching and mentoring to employees in your team and others when necessary to achieve successful outcomes

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience with at least 5 years managing software development/quality teams

• Recent hands-on experience with test automation of Web Service or APIs

• Familiarity with Web and SOA technologies

• Demonstrated experience leading positive change, empowering people, cultivating product technology visions and innovative solutions, and fostering effective engineering teams.

• Adept at articulating the product vision and drive the future roadmap with strong business acumen

• Ability to think and act strategically for all stakeholders

• Passion for being at the leading edge of technology with a minimum of 8-12 years of hands on software development experience

• Experience with Agile development and methodologies and SaaS and/or mobile technologies

• Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills.

• BS in Computer Science / MIS or equivalent work-related experience
