- Customer engagement while working closely with Customer Unit Sales
- Gather customer requirements and specifications and translate those needs into effective solutions in order to meet customer expectations.
- Drive OSS/BSS solution development with the customer
- Find new business opportunities based on expanding existing customer solutions as well as creating new ones.
- Drive customer meetings
- Develop cost estimates and , and perform project planning
- Define and implement process in a telecom system integration domain.
- Lead OSS/BSS projects as solution owner driving deliverable definition, delivery team management, financial results management and customer management.
COMPETENCE:
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Operations Management, Business Adminsitration or acceptable equivalent.
- 10+ years’ experience working in consulting companies in the Telecom and Media domain
- At least 7 years in-depth experience working with OSS/BSS systems for a telecom service providers.
- At least 3 years’ experience as a Lead for large scale operations/OSS/BSS transformation projects.
- At least 3 years’ experience working in a direct customer-facing sales role
- Experience in both wireline and wireless telecom carriers is ideal
- Experience in putting together commercial proposals.
- Experience in development of business cases an added advantage.
- Knowledge of customer business processes including business processes and frameworks for telecom best practices such as eTom and ITIL
- Knowledge of Ericsson OSS and BSS products an added advantage.
- Experience in an operator (Carrier) environment is highly desired.
- Familiarity with related rich communication services and technologies such as VoIP
