Responsible for the future design of cross functional Finance, Controllership and Risk processes at the legal entity level. The scope of this role includes go-forward design of operational processes, formation of synergies between cross functional operational teams at the legal entity level, re-design of broad processes to move controls upstream, design and implementation of policy and procedure where needed, and project management through multiple simultaneous projects.
Role Summary/Purpose continued: This role is expected to demonstrate clear thought leadership through ambiguous and new areas while demonstrating the ability to lead with motivation. This role will work closely with Tax and other legal entity stakeholders to ensure future process and controls are complimentary. Will partner with the Director of Legal Entity Management to design and implement operations and compliance analytics and metrics. Come be at the leading edge of future GE Capital Corporate (GECC) Legal Entity Management! This role will drive operational review and rigor across multiple GECC business units to support GECC's "Get to Strong" initiatives in Legal Entity Controllership. Direct and indirect management responsibilities.


  • Execute on the finance strategy and maintain daily finance processes at a sub-business functional area or country segment level.
  • Develop and maintain key financial performance analytics to identify financial trends, highlight risk and opportunities, and ensure operational coordination. Implement and execute operating plans, financial close processes, and other key finance deliverables.
  • Assist the business teams with execution of business strategy.
  • Execute with excellence in controllership and restructuring.
  • Implement financial performance improvement initiatives.
  • Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum 5 years of finance or accounting experience
  • Experience managing projects
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills and ability to work cross functionally
  • Prior leadership experience
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office (eg. Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Master's degree, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification
  • Proven ability to manage

  • Financial services industry experience
  • Graduate of a GE Leadership program such as FMP (Financial Management Program) or CAS (Corporate Audit Staff)
