Responsible for leading & executing assigned processes within the future design of cross functional Finance, Controllership and Risk processes at the legal entity level. The scope of this role is to assist in analytical support of go-forward design of operational processes, formation of synergies between cross functional operational teams at the legal entity level, re-design of broad processes to move controls upstream, and design and implementation of policy and procedure where needed.
Role Summary/Purpose continued: This role will also assist in the project management of multiple simultaneous projects. Work scope will require good clear thinking skills and high self-motivation. Will partner with the Manager of Legal Entity Process & Control to design and implement operations and compliance analytics and metrics. Come be at the leading edge of future GE Capital Corporate (GECC) Legal Entity Management! This role will drive operational review and rigor across multiple GECC business units to support GECC's "Get to Strong" initiatives in Legal Entity Controllership.



  • Ensure proper accounting and controls in area of focus (i.e. external reporting, cash settlement, client management, closing & reporting).
  • Identify controllership simplification and process improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare account reconciliations and execute on quarterly close tasks.
  • Coordinate with controllership and finance teams.
  • Review and conduct analysis of financial statements.
  • Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of finance or accounting experience
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient use of financial systems and Microsoft Office (eg. Excel, Word, PowerPoint)


    Eligibility Requirements:
  • MUST be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Financial services industry experience
  • Graduate of a GE Leadership Program such as Financial Management Program (FMP) or Corporate Audit Staff (CAS)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Clear thinking skills and high self-motivation
