We are searching for a full-time, experienced marketing program leader to plan, coordinate and execute marketing activities within the upstream (cell culture) area. This position is in the BioProcess team.
The purpose of this function is to support the needs of the Upstream portfolio with all marketing collateral, branding and positioning material. Additionally this individual will drive the plans for proactively marketing the cell culture portfolio into the academic segment.
• Work under the supervision of the Upstream Marketing Leader to define, align and support production all branding, labeling, scientific and sales enablement material.
• Ensure consistency of marketing materials for cell culture media, sera and reagent products. Work with MARCOM and Marketing Operations to maintain documents at current standards.
• Develop a marketing plan for cell culture media, sera and reagent products focused on academia and basic research. Liaise with Upstream MST leader and Academic MST Leader (RAM) to align plans. This will include supporting distributor marketing strategy.
• Develop, distribute and maintain distributor materials for cell culture media, sera and reagent products.
• Inbound marketing: monitor inbound channels for cell culture media products. Identify and develop areas of engagement. Work with web team and Marketing Operations to develop a funnel of online prospects and nurture them towards purchase, in alignment with regional commercial goals.
• B.A. or B.S. in cell biology or a related field.
• Minimum five years’ experience in biology or a related field.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral); able to communicate in a concise, truthful, engaging and convincing manner.
• The ability to manage multiple projects and to adapt to changing priorities.
• High attention to detail is critical.
• A curious mind with an ability to quickly learn technical and scientific aspects of various products and application areas.
• Proficient in MS Office, email and online communication tools.
• Customer focus and the ability to build strong ties with stakeholders and peers.
• Fluency in English.
• This position may involve international travel – up to 25%.
