    Role Summary/PurposeThis is a senior technology leadership role responsible for influencing and executing the BI roadmap for GE Equipment Finance. BI is considered a key element in the growth strategy for Equipment Finance. This role will understand, incorporate, influence and guide the business in developing BI plans and strategies that are in alignment with the overall BI strategy and roadmap.
    Essential Functions/Responsibilities
  • Manages BI project reviews, feasibility, cost benefit analysis, prioritization, initiation, execution, and closure for all project work related to the EF BI & analytics program.
  • Develops and maintains effective relationships with business, IT leaders and key stakeholders in the development and execution of the BI roadmap.
  • Guides, influences, aligns and negotiates with the Equipment Finance senior ledership to develop & execute the BI/analytics roadmap.
  • Works with developers, architects and other stakeholders to define and plan integrated solutions.
  • Ensures successful completion of all work executed by the team (on time, on budget, and ensuring quality).
  • Ensures compliance with the project management methodologies and the Project Management Office processes and standards.
  • Ensures compliance of application release management, outage management and change control processes and standards.
  • Creates, communicates, and manages the project plans and other required project documentation and provides updates as necessary. Maintains project documentation, including project charter, requirements, conceptual design, test plans, schedules, and presentations.
  • Basic Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree (or 4 years equivalent work experience)
  • 5+ years IT experience in developing and implementing Business Intelligence solutions.
  • 2+ years of demonstrated ability to develop effective business partner and stakeholder relationships.
  • 2+ years project management experience for large and complex initiatives

  • Ability to lead a team of application product managers to drive consistency and quality across the team’s deliverables.
  • Experience managing multiple, complex projects from design through deployment.
  • Experience working in a matrix organization.
  • Ability to work remotely from his/her manager & support teams.
  • Ability to influence teams outside his/her direct management.
