Position Purpose
JTI USA is presently seeking a Marketing Promoter to promote our brands
in the retail environment by to creating awareness, trial and purchase
in the Central and Eastern regions of the United States.
Responsibilities

Visit retail outlets in assigned geography to promote JTI products

Work with internal colleagues and external business partners in the planning of retail events
-
Implement/execute/ perform selling activities. This includes product placement, POS placement and partnering with consumers.

Cultivate existing retail relationships and source new business development opportunities along with local Sales Representative.

Consultative account management of new and existing client base.

Report all switch-sell activities including competitive, and potential opportunity in the trade
Qualifications & Experience
- High School Diploma / Associates degree or equivalent experience.
- 6 months to 1 year of customer service or outside business-to-business sales experience with proven success.
- Experience in selling to retailers, Wholesalers and Distributors in the Consumer Products industry is preferred.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Self-starter with demonstrated strong work ethic.
Additional Notes:
· Must be able to lift 20 pounds
· Occasional work on weekends
· Must be able to stand for long periods of time
· Must have a valid driver’s license
· Must be willing to travel
