The regional position is responsible for supervision of the Logistics managers within a geographical area. This will include full time equivalents and a contractor work force. The scope of the job responsibilities includes direct interaction with multiple CST/CU teams, and interaction with various logistics service providers. Problem solving and the ability to work with a diverse set of teams are key.

Summary:

Responsibilities:
- Serves as 1st line management support to Logistics Managers within your markets
- Strategic thinker looking for ways to improve the current supply chain model
- Supports Supply/Logistics with solving issues related order flow and final mile coordination
- Updates and maintains requests from multiple CU’s/CST’s
- Maintains working knowledge of the final mile process in totality
- Ensures each Logistic Manager maintains a tracker per CU, detailed breakdown of sites and status of materials at the market merge/call off for delivery
- Proactively deals with issues and or concerns from the various CST/CU teams
- Proposes appropriate actions to secure an efficient and simplified order fulfillment when there are deviations in the supply chain
- Active participates in transformational activities
- Serves as the escalation point for issues with CU/CST
- Participates in various planning sessions on daily/weekly basis (Go No-Go Call)
- Creates relationship with warehouse LSP to ensure product integrity, order efficiency, and KPI measurement and reporting
Core/Critical Competencies:
- Understanding of logistics/warehouse/supply chain operations processes and practices
- Strong understanding (and experience) of developing and managing metric-oriented logistics processes and the ability to measure, analyze, improve, and control the process after the initial implementation.
- Familiarity and experience with the physical warehouse and warehouse processes
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and solve problems in stressful situations
- Ability to solve problems based on root cause analysis and corrective action plans
- Ability to work closely with internal project managers, construction managers, customers, ASPs, and logistics/warehouse providers
- Ability to lead a team that is focused on success
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) and the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally
- Ability to succeed in a dynamic matrix environment
- Ability to have those tuff conversations
- Strong IT skills a plus, for example with warehouse management system (WMS) and SAP
- Microsoft Office skills – MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, Project
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 6+ years’ experience in logistics, supply chain operations, project management, construction, and/or procurement, preferred
- Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a people/supplier management role
