place for you. We are seeking a Therapeutic Delivery Unit (TDU) Director, Clinical Strategic Alliances. The
TDU Director will develop, lead and ensure the follow through on the
execution and delivery of individual third party provider strategies
within Clinical Strategic Alliances. Assess and measure the value of
these relationships and ensure consistent delivery from the provider(s),
together with mitigation of risk in management of the provider (s).
Identify and implement opportunities for financial growth within the
alliance relationships and identify future opportunities either through
business stakeholder collaboration or through provider market and
competitor analysis.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Direct and lead business needs in the sourcing of new global providers within the alliances portfolio segment
• Lead the business cases development for new alliance opportunities
• Manage all aspects of provider relationships to encourage a high degree of collaboration through the development of a culture for collaborative alliances
• Lead and advocate the benefits and value of the provider to internal stakeholders and customers to enable and support use and adoption of associated strategies.
• Lead the construction of Master Service Agreement terms and identification of performance management metrics
• Lead and manage governance reviews, including the review of strategy execution, performance management, financial status and operational escalations and manage and follow through actions, including those related to continuous improvement measures
• Direct and track inter-company finances, to ensure that inter-company contractual terms are followed.
• Lead an annual value assessment of each provider within the portfolio segment. Actively review the providers' impact on Quintiles' strategy execution, financial growth and level of innovation
• Lead and develop and annual budget requirements and actively participate in budget allocation/prioritization activities, including contributing to cost management efforts.
• Serve as escalation point for operations or functional leads where action from the provider is required and manage any provider escalations to resolve problems, advocate solutions and make decisions
• Lead thought leadership for the portfolio segment, to enable the identification of new alliance opportunities

Qualifications
Bachelor's
degree, or educational equivalent, in business, technology or science
with 15 years relevant experience, including 9 years' leadership
experience; including proven competence in managing the delivery of
global projects/programs.
- Advanced knowledge of technological services in the eClinical field, for example eDC or ePro electronic diary applications.
- Comprehensive understanding of vendors, market environment, FDA guidance, etc.
- Strong strategic thinking ability.
