Description


·         Participate on the leadership team of major sales opportunities and campaigns
·         Recommend and participate in deal qualification decisions; Work to schedule New Business Meeting (NBM) stage reviews; Create and lead presentation for Stage Reviews and obtain necessary approvals; Help Sales Exec obtain all necessary internal approvals
·         Drive overall sales campaign to develop compelling, and compliant Win Strategies and Proposals that differentiate Quintiles in the marketplace and balance program risk and reward; Ensure pursuit strategy and proposal activities are compliant with internal controls
·         Ensure adequate pursuit team staffing and help secure key resources including Pursuit Lead, Proposal Manager, Solution Architect, SMEs, etc. and Quintiles executive/coach involvement
·         Work with Pursuit Lead on Win Strategy execution, and other strategic opportunity events
·         Manage Third Party Advisor (TPA) relationship, if applicable
·         Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with teaming partners, subcontractors, third parties and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
·         Develop call plan with client communication strategies/messages; Lead and manage client meetings, working with Client Partner or Opportunity Partner;
·         Oversee the deal structuring and shaping of the solution within client and Quintiles procurement policies and guidelines
·         Write Executive Summary (with Client Exec support)
·         Approve all internal and external deliverables
·         Ensure delivery capability pre- and post-sales and appropriate unit leads are assigned to manage delivery post-award; Support client delivery and business development teams in building relationships with client decision makers and key influencers;
·         Contribute to contract negotiation strategy and ensure contractual alignment of scope and commitments

Qualifications

 REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Proven track record at developing mid-level and high-level contacts
• Solid understanding of commercialization and the principles of drug discovery and development
• Excellent skills using Microsoft Office Suite: MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Excel
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strategic business awareness and analytical skills
• Adaptability and flexibility to changing priorities
• Demonstrated ability to work creatively and effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and ability to work simultaneously on multiple priorities
• Ability to maintain demanding timelines
• Ability to influence others both internally and externally
• Ability to work independently and as a team player
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients
