Responsibilities
Position Summary
The Electronic Mechanical Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of electronic and electro-mechanical technicians and leads by determining weekly work schedules and monitoring work load to ensure that all jobs are completed on time.

Main Tasks
Essential Job Responsibilities
• Manage the Electro/Mechanical Assembly, Final Assembly, and Test groups according to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost (SQDC) requirements
• Continuously develop staff through training and coaching
• Identify daily priorities by interacting with supervisors, area leads and Planning Department
• Plan daily production requirements to ensure there are no part shortages to the Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) line
• Conduct daily meetings with department leads to set goals and overtime requirements
• Attend and present status report during weekly planning, RMA and ROV meetings
• Verify quality of assembled parts based on schematics by conducting visual inspections
• Ensure that first-time quality level is greater than 99% through visual inspections and testing inspections
• Evaluate resource needs including budgets, personnel, equipment, and process/procedure requirements
• Incorporate process improvements into work flow
• Interact with Engineering Department to produce prototype products
• Obtain clarification for work instructions, Test Data Sheets (TDS) and schematics using Part ROVer and Visibility
• Review work order shortage report through Visibility and verify and obtain part availability for work orders
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
• Three (3) or more years supervising in a manufacturing environment
• Hands-on experience with mechanical and electromechanical components and systems
• High School diploma (AA degree in Electronics preferred)
• Familiarity with bills of materials, Product Change Order (PCO) by using Part ROVer, and ERP/MRP (preferably Visibility)
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with cell development preferred
• Good understanding of IPC 610 and 620 requirements preferred (Soldering and cabling standards).
• Lean Six Sigma Certification or knowledge of Lean Six Sigma process preferred

• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop team members
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment effectively while meeting deadlines

• Ability to stand, sit or walk for long periods of time
• Work on concrete floors, wearing steel toes boots up to 8-12 hours a day.
• May be required to lift up to 40lbs as required
