Seeking multiple Senior Systems Integration Project Managers in the following locations:
Plano, TX; Bellevue, WA; Toronto, Canada; and Montreal, Canada
 

Job Summary

As a Senior Systems Integration Customer Project Manager (CPM) you will be one of the key representatives for Ericsson managing our customers delivering large complex solution integration programs. You will be involved in the pre-sales process, writing and negotiating statements of work with our customers to contractually cover project scope, project and program planning, risk assessment, secure the necessary resources globally, monitor, and execute all activities while controlling project costs and scope. The Senior CPM is accountable for all project and program financial management including customer invoicing and delivering to the expected profit margin for the business.
 
Role 
The Senior Customer Project Manager (CPM) has ownership of multiple projects and/or large complex programs within scope, time, costs and quality while achieving full customer satisfaction.
 
Responsibilities & Tasks:
The Senior Customer Project Manager is accountable for all activities in the Ericsson project model. This includes direct and constant communication with our customers. The Senior CPM is responsible for monitoring and controlling project/program progress and deliveries and focusing on the needs and priorities of the customer and other important project stakeholders. This would include creating and maintaining an integrated master program schedule of all projects within the program at a sufficient level of detail to manage and track project progress. The Senior CPM conducts project governance both internally and with our customers. The Senior CPM has early involvement in sales and planning phase of the sales process activities including cost estimation, development of the initial project timeline, writing and negotiating statements of work, resource planning and risk assessment. The Senior CPM is responsible for monitoring and controlling all project financials in SAP and Clarity, establishing detailed planning and tracking to enable project stakeholders and sponsors to have clear visibility of project status and financial results. The Senior CPM is responsible for risk management throughout the program. The projects supported will include some or all of the following: Ericsson products, Third Party Partner products, custom development based on customer requirements, consulting services, and business process re-engineering/transformation. The Senior CPM also supports the operation organization’s KPIs and business targets including identification of additional business opportunities and driving incremental sales with our customers.
 
Position Qualifications
Candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of proven project management success, preferably working with telecommunication’s technology and customers. Excellent technical understanding and project experience with complex integration of systems. Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are paramount.
 
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a science, engineering, business or telecommunications discipline
  • MBA preferred
  • PMP certification and PgMP certifications preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in project/program management with proven track record of strong team leadership
  • Excellent consultative skills, the preferred candidate has worked for a major international consulting firm
  • Highly developed working knowledge of business process re-engineering, program management methodologies, and project management tools
  • Strong financial knowledge. Has successfully managed budgets in excess of $25M USD for external customers accountable to deliver to a specified profit margin
