Description
This position is responsible for the development, testing, and implementation of Risk Management & Credit/Collections strategies and initiatives. The incumbent will develop, analyze, and implement reengineering opportunities, process improvements, and new policies / procedures supporting changes in Risk & Credit/Collections strategies. This is primarily a programming/coding position. The programming code represents the Business Rules which are critical for Credit/Collections inventory management and to execute Risk Management’s strategies.
Qualifications
· Possesses analytical skills and demonstrates ability to drive process improvement
· Experience in Credit Operations and working knowledge of Credit strategies & policies
· Proven oral and written communication skills
· Ability to lead and influence others without direct authority
· Ability to apply knowledge of systems and operations toward the improvement of processes, implementation of strategies, and solution of user problems
· Demonstrates an understanding of object-oriented development tools & techniques
· Ability to identify underlying root cause issues instead of symptoms reported by customers
· Experience working on programming platforms and/or programming languages
· Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
· Must be able to work in a dynamic environment, under minimal supervision
· Basic testing skills to ensure all deliverables have consistently high quality
· Knowledge of WCC screens, Credit Servicing Portal, CAS, and GRMS systems Experience with mainframe, UNIX, and/or PC operating environments desired
· Pega certification preferred
· Pega programming preferred
· College Degree preferred
