American Express hires individuals into the Strategic Planning Group (“SPG”) as internal consultants to work oncritical business challenges and new business development issues facing the Company. Consultants in SPG gain exposure to numerous business units and have the opportunity to develop their core consulting and leadership skills through their project work.
Our well-established Summer Intern Program will provide high-performing undergraduate students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in projects that have strategic, operational or financial significance to the company. Interns will meet line of business and leaders from all levels and have a chance to learn about the culture and values of the organization as well as network across regions and functions.
What will you do #foraliving?
o As part of project teams, provide high-level strategic counsel to top management and executives
o Develop frameworks and solutions to tackle key business issues
o Perform analysis and research to develop insights as part of a project team
o Partner with business unit clients to develop and present implementable solutions
