Solutions Architect(s)

Job Location: West Conshohocken, PA

Location: West Conshohocken, PA and various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.

Detailed Description: Provides technical and/or business consultative leadership during the pre-sales and/or post-sales cycle. May provide technical or business analytical leadership for specific product groups or business objectives in order to engage the customer or implement and maintain an engagement. Supports the design and development of the technical content defined in the statement of work. Designs the EMC solution and supports the installation, customization, and integration of the solution. Prepares technical architectural and implementation design documents and works with the project management to develop the implementation plan. Works closely with the project management to define project deliverables and schedules. Helps to identify and leverage EMC and partner resources in order to satisfy the technical needs and objectives of the implementation. Leads project quality assurance activities, including performing technical QA reviews on components for a team and performing QA reviews of code documentation. May be assigned to various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Comp. Sci., Eng.(any), Business, Math, Physics, or related technical field. 24 months experience in job offered or computer-related occupation.

Experience must include: 1) Storage Arrays (VMAX, DMX, CLARiiON, VNX, VPLEX), 2) Storage Softwares (SMC, SPA, Solution Enabler CLI, Navisphere, Unisphere, Recovery point, SYM WIN, 3) Operating Systems (Windows, Solaris 8,9,10 SPARC , AIX, Linux, Vmware-ESX) 4) Symmetrix, 5) Open Replicator, and 6) Open Migrator/LM. Experience may be gained concurrently. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.
